TISCA Swim

                                        



























I did swim a while back but completely forgot to put them on my blog. Swim was probably one of my favorite things I've done so far in photography. I was there for five hours and got soaking wet but still super loved it. It was really difficult at first because I didn't know about what to do with the settings and there was water everywhere and I didn't know what on earth I was trying to get. About an hour and half into it, I really got a hang of it and had so much fun. I did learn that at swim, you have to change your settings over and over again because the lighting can change a lot.

More Light Fun!

I was doing an assignment in the theater with Alex and Taylor when our front flash didn't go off. The effect it made was super cool so after we finished the assignment we just started adjusting our back flash's power and placement. It was really interesting figuring out how to do the "stop-action" deal with just one flash. Anyway, we spent two hours in the theater and really want to go back and do more soon.

Light Fun!

This wasn't an assignment or anything, we just decided to mess around with flashes and stuff. The first two pictures of Alex, we used a light behind her and one to the left of her but turned the power way down on the one in front. For Taylor's picture, we kept the same light setup but used a car window shade under her face to light her up cause she's oh so black :)

Spiderman!

The other day we got to Spiderman for the first time. I've been really excited for this for a while. With Spiderman you have to set up two flashes with one behind the subject and one facing them so that you can catch them jumping or running or whatever. I really liked taking these.

Basketball

 

I absolutely loooove shooting basketball now. I really like how you have to time a shot exactly to get a good picture. It's difficult, but super fun. It took me forever to get my settings exactly right for this game.
