Mother/Daughter
ISO: 100 Aperture: 1/250 F/4.5
The newspaper is doing a story on different students who've had cancer survivors in their family. My friend Shayla's mom has gone through cancer and I wanted to take a picture showing how close they are and how much they care about each other. I thought their positions and the way the light hit them all accentuated exactly what I was trying to portray. I also learned about short and broad lighting. I knew OF short and broad lighting but didn't know too much about it. Smith taught me how to make it so that ladies don't look chunky and so that shadows fall the way I want them too. I really enjoyed taking this picture.

There's a photographer that decided to do photographs of real people disney princesses that I found. They are suuuuper cool pictures and since Smith was showing the juniors how to use a light stand and Alex was wearing this adorable red bow, we decided to do a little modern day Snow White shoot. I had one flash and then someone holding a white poster board up next to her face for a lot of them. It was lots of fun.
