Camera Eye!!!!

MY EYE PICTUREEEE!!!!!!! I spent all of third period getting mad at Photoshop trying to work this picture out. I saw kind of the same thing on the front of a magazine and decided to try it out myself. My ISO for the eye was 1000, f-stop 3.2, aperature 1/30. The ISO for the lens was 1000, f-stop was 3.2, aperature 1/15.

Disney Day!

ISO: 800  5.6  1/1000

ISO: 800  5.6  1/1000

ISO: 800  6.3  1/25

Day before yesterday we had Disney day at school. Barely anyone was dressed up because no one knew about it -_- Anyway, I'm okay with the pictures I got but I wish they could've been better. Next time, I'll do my best to try and get more expression and faces.

Melde Headshot

ISO: 800  5.6  1/500

I used a 30D camera for this and a 28-75 lens. I just had to get a headshot for Tiger Times Online. I was kinda disappointed with this just because she looks all frumpy because I forgot to model her right :/

Senior Schedule Pick-Up

ISO: 3200  4.5  1/320

ISO: 3200  4.5  1/250

ISO: 3200  4.5  1/200

I was assigned senior schedule pick-up a couple of days before school started. I tried to shoot the assignment with as many faces as I could. Like with the first and last picture, I loved them because DJ has this big ole smile on his face and Kyte is obviously intently working on something. The second picture I did a little differently. I liked how both of the administrators were standing there like they were actually doing stuff and everyone else was completely absorbed in getting their schedules. I used a 50D camera and a 28-135 lens.

Volleyball Tournament

ISO: 3200  5.6  1/200

ISO: 2000  5.6  1/125

ISO: 1600  6.3  1/125

I had to shoot the volleyball tournament with freshman, junior varsity, and varsity. I used a 50D camera and a 70-200 lens. I had sooo much fun shooting volleyball. I've never shot it before. It's really difficult but if you pay attention, you can get really cool shots. I tried to Shoot from the opposing team more often just because I could get the facial expressions of our team. Next time I shoot volleyball, I really want to try and get a picture of a girl scooping the ball with the ball stopped. I'm really bad at stopping the ball, so that's my goal!

FIRST BLOG OF SENIOR YEAR!!!!

So it is officially senior year...and I got to shoot freshman. Super fun -_-
Anyway, this was kind of a weird thing to shoot. It was freshman football gear pick- up and this was the only good picture I got of the whole assignment. The other pictures were done in this tiny room with this massive window that let in buttloads of light in one specific area and it was so aggravating. If I could change it, I would have tried harder to get allowed to be in the room with them instead of outside the room. I don't have any idea what camera I used because this was a month ago. My settings were ISO 800, 1/30, 5.0
